The Tulip looks Set to Bloom

The controversial Tulip Tower, designed by Foster & Partners is looking likely to get the go ahead as Michael Gove overturns London Mayor, Sadiq Kahn’s refusal of the project. Whether you like the design or not, it is great to be talking about architecture. People on the street discussing the design, the changing London skyline, whether there is a place for a 300m tall Tulip in the City of London. Cities across the country, across the World and from when cities began have always been evolving. Just think back to what people must have thought when Wren’s replacement Cathedral was built at St Pauls!
