The Half Round Coping is a semi-circular brick coping with drip grooves on both sides to prevent water stains running down the face of the brickwork. These are less commonly used due to cost and availability and will normally be produced for renovation work on listed walls.
Whilst there are some manufacturers who still produce purpose made special shapes, the vast majority are fabricated specials using standard bricks. Coping Bricks fall under the ‘CP’ category of brick specials when referring to British Standard, but they can made to suit specific requirements.
