Description
This is an extruded brick often referred to as a ‘Wirecut’ due to the ‘Cheesewire’ that divides the column of clay into bricks. There will be perforations running through the body of the brick with the main characteristic being the clean, sharp edges. The bricks often have a smooth surface, but can be textured and patterned by the use of rollers in the production process. They are good for precise work as the tolerances are much smaller and the compressive strength is often twice that of a ‘Stock’ brick.
